This One's for You my dear friend. This week was rather long and arduous, lots of remodeling going on at my job. Even though it's exciting, it's not without a price...the paint smell...oh my goodness, it's one of the things I literally don't like to smell. Can't wait until it's finished.
Through all this, you were the highlight of each day approaching the weekend, knowing you would come made me heart glad.  I'm so happy you showed up!

I feel a Friday coming on.
 Let me just get a glimpse of the weekend and fun ahead for me and mine!
Friday will get all dressed up and smelling good...steal my heart dear Friday and romance me through the weekend. I need that! And stay as long as you like.
I keep begging you to stay, but you manage to convince me that it will be ok and you always come back...on that I can depend.

My favorite day is upon us and oh how I've waited for you. Today you're dressed up and smelling good reminding me of a very special day, Easter, the day we celebrate our Risen Savior Jesus Christ.
What a beautiful day you turned out to be, even though I've stayed in most of it and didn't have to work...at least not outside of home, I've been blessed to spend the day with loved ones in person and technologically...we can do just about everything from home these days, right?(😊😊).
I know at the close of the day I'll long for you once more, but this Friday will be extra special before Easter for He is Risen...no wonder they call you "Good Friday".

Here we are at last...Friday, you're all mine and I'm going to treat you like the special day you are. I've waited and worked all week for just this time to be spent with you, so stay a little longer than you did last week...it was much too short, you seemed to be in a rush to end this relationship and get to Monday. If I'm wrong, please advise me and take your time...let me enjoy you. Monday will come soon enough.
