Stalking or Pursuing

I heard on the radio the other day that two women had actually married their stalkers and I began to wonder what their definitions were of "stalker". Could it have really been just plain old fashioned "pursuit"? I just think there's a fine line between the two and we use it loosely. Maybe we should take a closer look at what we mean by stalking someone. That word makes me a little uncomfortable. Back in the day men were taught to pursue a woman and the woman was taught to play hard to get, now we have labels and he might be considered a stalker, not a guy in hot pursuit of a girls affections.
Anybody out there? Tell me what you think...
