Special day

I was just sitting here and feeling a little happy in a sad kind of way, thinking of the two weddings taking place this weekend. Bittersweet would be the correct term for what I feel. I know that I wish the new couples all the happiness in the world, but a part of me wishes it was me getting ready for the happiest day ever joined with God's perfect man for me. Anyhow, that day shall surely come.

Day by Day

I haven't written in a while but things have been building up and I can't hold out any longer. Writers must write and I'm a rough writer, so here goes.
My life has been taking so many twists and turns and curves and bumps; I could go on, but everytime I think about what my pastor ministered to us several months back about living day by day and not allowing the cares of this life to overcome us, so I face whatever life pitches to me and receive it if it's positive and throw it back if it's not.
Day by day I watch my baby daughter struggle to just get up, yet she continues to smile and continues to make the effort to succeed. Boy, we could learn a lot from her spirit. She inspires me to give each day my very best and thereby be the very best. For this, I am truly blessed.

Stalking or Pursuing

I heard on the radio the other day that two women had actually married their stalkers and I began to wonder what their definitions were of "stalker". Could it have really been just plain old fashioned "pursuit"? I just think there's a fine line between the two and we use it loosely. Maybe we should take a closer look at what we mean by stalking someone. That word makes me a little uncomfortable. Back in the day men were taught to pursue a woman and the woman was taught to play hard to get, now we have labels and he might be considered a stalker, not a guy in hot pursuit of a girls affections.
Anybody out there? Tell me what you think...
