Death and Dying

After the weekend passed and yet another death, I felt overwhelmingly drawn  to start writing about this subject. Perhaps because of so many deaths of people I know well passing away within a short period of time. Maybe it's somehow related to age and I'm older now with adult kids...the cycle of life sorta thing. What gives? This time it was a schoolmate of mine...too much.
I don't wanna grow up, I wanna stay young, let someone take care of me for a change. In a perfect world, huh? People are leaving here before they reach the age of retirement while others are living way beyond what's expected.

Well, since we can't avoid getting older, we certainly can avoid getting OLD. Age is just a number. My mom always says "age is a matter of the mind, and if you don't mind, it don't matter".(L.J.Lonon). Although we can't get around the fact that as we age, new generations are being born and old ones are simply passing on to "heavenly retirement". Youth is something we can control to a certain extent, it begins in our minds. We are what we believe we are. Society has forced us to accept things associated with age as a standard, not me, can't do it.
We must work hard to change that stereotypical crap and maintain our youth so we can be a blessing to a very crazy world who would like nothing more than to extinguish our voices and get rid of anything that resembles Christianity.
My tip for the week is " Pray a little more, Love a little more  Live a Little longer".
