Oh how I love my Fridays. It's not just because of the blog, but it marks the end of another work week well done, marked off, and a paycheck. Yay! Pay! Let's face it, we all want to get paid, right?
I still have technology on the brain, so here it goes again. When did we get so lazy that we hit redial on our cell phones before checking the message and finding out where the call really came from or how we can reach the person that called? There are still businesses that have numbers that show up on caller ID that are not the number you need to dial to reach your party, so LISTEN to your messages people before assuming and resuming that call.

Okay, okay, I've NEVER done this, only because I'm not a huge fan of the phone. If you miss me, you miss me. I check messages to see IF I really need to call you back. I know,I'm a mess. So, all I can say is that people who jump to press "redial" must really need to talk to someone or they are afraid to miss a call. In their defense, maybe they are busy people who THINK it is a waste of their precious time to check the messages, but as you described, when they call without proper information, this creates inefficiency instead of saving them time.
