OK You few faithful Friday followers, I was briefly confused on what day it is...couldn't wait until tomorrow for this one because I WISH IT WAS FRIDAY TODAY! So bare with me and let's make this the very first "Thursday I wish it was Friday Day". Anybody with me on this? I don't want to have to get dressed tomorrow morning for work or get my daughter dressed for school. I want to be lazy and sleep in ..enjoy the comforts of home, hire a maid and butler to indulge my every whim. Do you think that's fantasy talk? Well, it's not. It's My reality, soon to be real reality. That's right, I said it.I'm wealthy and deserve a little pampering and gosh darnit, I'm gonna get it. God bless you.

FRIDAY
Oh how I love my Fridays. It's not just because of the blog, but it marks the end of another work week well done, marked off, and a paycheck. Yay! Pay! Let's face it, we all want to get paid, right?
I still have technology on the brain, so here it goes again. When did we get so lazy that we hit redial on our cell phones before checking the message and finding out where the call really came from or how we can reach the person that called? There are still businesses that have numbers that show up on caller ID that are not the number you need to dial to reach your party, so LISTEN to your messages people before assuming and resuming that call.

FRIDAYS
Well, I missed posting on Friday for a number of "not so good reasons" but it's still the weekend and stuff is still happening worthy of blogging about.
Troubling me this time around is the use or misuse of technology among people who can't walk and chew gum...mainly our young people who have no real responsibility in life other than breathing. They walk around aimlessly texting their friends, talking on the cell, or playing a video game with no regard to what;s happening in the world around them.
When I heard about the kid who fell off onto the subway rail playing a game, I was NOT surprised and we'll hear about more incidences as we move further into this new era of tech-frolicky if we don't teach them how to properly use the equipment. It may come with a price or penalty to punish those who think it won't happen to them but we must do something.
Anyhow, enjoy until later!

FRIDAY
Today is Friday and I'm feeling pretty tired after an early morning taking my daughter to the dentist for a dreaded EXTRACTION, her very first and hope the last. As the feeling began to return, she clearly didn't understand so she started rubbing her cheeks to get rid of the tingle. After nearly falling down and carryuing me with her, I knew I wou;ld have to watch her closely because she's so independent and wanted to do the things she normally does, but NO...ain't gonna happen on my watch. Somehow she managed to chew on the gauze, roll it around in her mouth, take it out of her mouth and make me change it constantly, so no nap for me.
I also noticed she seemed real happy, much more than usual...boy oh boy, what kind of drugs did they give her? Never have I seen a person so happy after having a tooth taken out. I guess surgery can be fun, huh?
Not much to say today since I didn't work today. Did I say didn't work? I certainly didn't mean that, I meant I didn't work on my job today because I have really worked today. Until next Friday, think Lovely thoughts!

FRIDAYS---
Well... here tis, it's Friday and I'm back as promised.
Today, something is seriously bothering me, that being the senseless and untimely deaths of our young men, especially our young Black men. What's up America and Christian community? We need to be about our forefathers and our Heavenly Father's business...saving people, not losing them. We are in fact losing them...too many. Recently it touched home with someone close to my family being gunned down in a bowling alley parking lot. He was a son, a grandson, nephew, a brother, and surely he was someone's friend. He meant different things to several different people, right? Which in my estimation means several deaths at once.
Let's get busy and begin to mentor, pray, form small groups that teach mediation to these kids, so they understand that after you kill someone, you can't be friends later on or undo the death...the opportunity is Forever Gone.
Humanity is NOT dead, so let's show some.Think about it , be about it and have the greatest weekend yet!!!

FRIDAYS---
Well, I m back so you can probably guess, it's Friday. I'm happy if only for the fact that I'm FREE for the weekend from work but not from life itself because I've plenty to do. Isn't that what makes life worth living? Being busy and loving it.
I will attend a Christmas musical called "Live 10"on Saturday which is spectacular every year, so I expect nothing less than the best this year. Knowing how good it will be just adds joy to the anticipation. You can watch it live online @ www.mbcocala.com @ 7pm Sat Dec.10, 3pm Dec.11, and 7pm Dec 12.
